The Follow-on Tiller Autopilot controller from Raymarine brings fully functional power steering to distance and secondary operating stations everywhere on board. Designed for cruise ships or commercial vessels, the Follow-on Tiller is a simple addition to Raymarine Evolution car silent systems. With the push of a button, the Tiller activates the Power Steer mode from Evolution, so that Kapitins can send accurate steering angle assignments to the helm, up to 35 °. The Evolution Follow-on Tiller can be installed on bridge wing stations, rear mooring places or even on the arms of wheelhouse seats. The intuitive design enables Captains to make accurate steering adjustments with a simple twist on the lever or button. The controller is in advance with a return spring to automatically reduce the controller to the 0 ° middle position when releasing. The return spring can be removed if desired. In proportional mode, the rudder follows the tiller precisely, grade by degree, and the rudder returns to the middle when the Tiller is in the 0 ° middle position. In ON/OUT mode, the degree of deflection of the Tiller determines the speed of the stirring in the indicated direction. Moving the Tiller to the 0 ° middle position immediately puts the rudder in that position. In on/off mode, the driver must always return the helm manually to the middle. The Follow-on Tiller controller is designed for use on Raymarine Evolution Autopilot systems that are only installed on motor boats. It is not compatible with Evolution-wheel control, Tiller control or linear operating systems configured for sailing vessels. Installation and calibration of the follow-on Tiller controller can be easily executed using the primary autopilot control unit of the system or autopilot-in-house Lighthouse 2 or Lighthouse 3-multifunctional displays.Specifications
