A small hobby that has grown into a global company
In April 2016, Mike, a professional from the maritime sector, started Outlet Specialist as a small side project, selling surplus stock and accessories from a modest office. What began as a part-time activity has now grown into a unique company serving customers worldwide.
Driven by Mike's entrepreneurship and a clear vision, Outlet Specialist steadily developed into an international online outlet for high-quality watersports and maritime equipment, supplemented with selected residual lots from other sectors. At the heart of this growth is our distinctive sales method: a bidding system in which customers actively influence the final price and can score unique deals that are hardly found anywhere else.

Our Process
We buy surplus and end-of-line lots from renowned shipyards, wholesalers, manufacturers, and retailers within the maritime world and beyond.
Our team inspects incoming goods, selects the best items, and captures them with clear descriptions and photos for the website.
Each product goes live on the platform with full specifications and the option to bid or buy directly, ready for our international customer base.
As soon as a bid is accepted, we handle the paperwork, collect and pack the item in our warehouse, and prepare it for shipment.
From our 2,500 m² facility in Kaatsheuvel, we ship daily to customers across Europe and beyond, with a focus on fast turnaround and careful packaging.
