The Precision-9 Compass provides accurate information about the course and the wend speed, based on an internal range of semiconductor sensors that measure the movement and orientation on nine axes. An easily adjustable mounting bracket and NMEA 2000® connectivity ensure easy mounting on each boat, including a mast mounting attachment for vessels with a steel hull.

This compact sensor package offers data about the course, turn speed, rolling and rising to equipment that is connected via an NMEA 2000® network industrial stand. The Precision-9 is not only a compass, but is also an ideal source of price and exercise data for Simrad Star machines, radar systems, multifunctional displays and other systems.
Solid-State Sensor Technology
The Precision-9 measures movement on nine separate axes to calculate the most accurate information about the course and the wend speed. The advanced Solid-State design prevents many of the limitations that occur with regular electronic fluxgate compasses, and ensures an accuracy of the price of ± 2 degrees after calibration.
To mount almost everywhere
Via a easily adjustable mounting bracket, the Precision-9 can be mounted on any vessel, at almost any location. The Precision-9 Compass can also be mounted directly on a flat surface, and, because it has an IPX7 water resistance classification, on vessels with a metal hull are mounted externally to the mast to prevent magnetic interference.
