Mastershunt forms the heart of every energy system that is fed by a battery. This integrated battery monitor shares information about the battery bank with other devices that support Masterbus, CZONE or NMEA 2000, such as battery chargers, inverters/chargers and displays. With the Mastershunt you prevent surprises, improve comfort, and extend the life of your batteries and the useful life of your system.
The Mastershunt 500 CZONE offers all the necessary information for the monitoring of battery tubs and system management, such as voltage, electricity, loading status and the remaining time. With just one master bus or czone cable, all information is available for your energy system. Due to an accurate measurement of the current and loading status, the Mastershunt can precisely determine the remaining duration.
Programmable 'events' and an integrated clock make it possible to fully automate your system. Examples are the automatic start of your generator when the batteries are almost empty (or postpone this at night), but also automatic warning at a certain depth of discharge. The proven Mastershunt Design has improved to achieve an even higher level of accuracy and control. The Mastershunt now also takes into account the properties of the connected battery.
