Bose

Why buy Bose from an outlet

Bose protects its pricing. A new Bose product costs the same wherever you shop, and current models rarely see a real discount. An outlet works differently. We buy surplus and dead stock from installers, distributors and shipyards, so the same Bose sound reaches you at a lower price. Nothing is downgraded for the outlet: same features, same finish, same box.

That stock builds up because projects change. An installation is cancelled, a range is superseded, a distributor clears a warehouse. The hardware is unused and boxed but fits nobody's catalogue. Selling it beats scrapping it, which cuts waste and carbon footprint along with the price.

What you find in the Bose outlet

Stock comes in through partners, so the mix changes.

Satellite and cube speakers

Cube and satellite speakers from Lifestyle sets, in black and white. Single pieces are common, which beats hunting a refurbished replacement for one damaged speaker or buying new products.

In-ceiling and installed speakers

Virtually Invisible in-ceiling loudspeakers and FreeSpace models are built in. Check the cut-out diameter and internal depth. Our audio and video collection holds more.

All-weather and marine speakers

Bose 131 speakers exist in an all-weather and a marine version. They look alike and are not the same. Marine units use materials rated for salt spray and UV, and those materials explain the price gap.

Home audio and cinema sets

Complete Lifestyle sets arrive with console, speakers and bass module, with the same features as retail. These show the widest gap to the retail price. Watch the voltage: a 110V set needs a converter.

Amplifiers and bass modules

Power amplifiers and Acoustimass bass modules, as spares and from broken-up sets. Confirm impedance and connector type, then see our electrical systems collection.

Brackets, stands and grilles

SlideConnect brackets, table stands and mesh covers, often the only thing between a stored speaker and a working one at a low price.

Cables, remotes and Bose replacement parts

Remotes, connect kits, power supplies and cables. Bose replacement parts for a set you own, at a fraction of the retail price.

Bose Certified Refurbished or outlet stock?

Two different things, and worth knowing which you are buying.

Bose Certified Refurbished is Bose's own refurbished programme. A returned Bose product goes back to the factory for external cleaning, internal repair with genuine Bose parts, and quality testing against strict quality standards. Certified refurbished products are thoroughly inspected, tested and restored to like new condition with complete functionality, keeping the features and the sound of a new set. Every Bose certified refurbished product carries Bose warranty backing, usually a one year warranty, plus free returns when purchased directly. If that quality commitment matters most, buy refurbished from Bose.

Our outlet is not refurbished. Nothing here is refurbished stock. Almost everything is unused, most of it in original packaging, surplus rather than returned. Nothing has been used, so there is no repair history. You get the same premium performance as a new Bose product for less money, at a price you set.

So the real choice is refurbished against unused. Certified refurbished products were opened, repaired and closed again by people who know them. Unused stock was never opened. Certified refurbished products are graded and priced by Bose, and that refurbished pricing is fixed; here you name the price.

Refurbished or unused, both keep hardware working in a sustainable way, ultimately reducing what gets scrapped or sent to recycle. Green purchasing is the greener call when the alternative is a skip, so shop confidently.

What to check before you bid

• Voltage. 110V and 230V versions look identical and are not interchangeable.
• Completeness. Sets are sometimes listed without console or power supply.
• Compatibility. Older Bose gear uses proprietary connectors; confirm the fit.
• Features. Legacy sets predate app control and voice assistant support, so read the features list. Only newer Bluetooth models offer a voice assistant, and no voice assistant can be added later.
• Condition. Unused, opened packaging or showroom model, never refurbished, is stated on every listing.

Buying as a UK customer

We ship worldwide from the Netherlands and UK delivery is included in the price shown. Pay with Klarna before or after delivery, or by card, iDEAL, PayPal or bank transfer. Your invoice doubles as your warranty document.

Frequently asked questions

Do you stock Bose headphones and Bluetooth speakers?

Occasionally, not reliably. Bose's own refurbished shop is built around the Bose Bluetooth speaker family including SoundLink Max, SoundLink Flex and SoundLink Micro speakers, plus QuietComfort Earbuds and SoundLink Flex bundles and the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones 2nd Gen. Our stock leans to installed audio. A SoundLink Flex Portable Speaker 2nd Gen in Rosewood Mauve, or a Bose QuietComfort Earbuds set, turns up now and then. Colour is whatever the batch held, so for White Smoke, Midnight Violet or the blue, green, brown and pink finishes, buy new or refurbished.

Does Bose ever go on sale?

Rarely at full price on current models. Discounts cluster around Black Friday and the refurbished products in Bose's own shop, where each Bose certified refurbished product sits below the price of new products. Outlet stock is the other route to a lower price.

Do Bose stores still exist?

Bose closed its retail stores across North America, Europe, Japan and Australia in 2020 and moved those sales online. The shops went because most Bose products, new and refurbished alike, are now bought online.

Why is Bose so expensive?

Bose spends heavily on acoustic research and sells at full price through controlled channels, with refurbished stock as the main outlet for discounts. You pay for tuning and sound design rather than a long features list, so specifications alone never explain the price.

Is Bose better than Sony or JBL?

They aim at different things. Bose tunes for a full, easy sound at low volume and for speakers that disappear into a room. Sony and JBL give more output and features per pound. For installed audio Bose wins; on portable price the gap narrows.

Is refurbished or unused better?

A Bose certified refurbished product is inspected, tested and covered by that year warranty. Unused outlet stock has no service history and no wear. Certified refurbished products win only if a manufacturer warranty is your first priority.

Do outlet products come with a warranty?

Yes, whether you buy refurbished elsewhere or unused here. The statutory warranty applies and our warranty period matches the manufacturer's. Keep the invoice as proof of purchase.
